While the recoveries of an audit are an important part of the service provided to our clients, we also convey to you those things which may assist you in improving internal controls to limit the need for recoveries in the future. Where the need for recoveries is unavoidable, we share ideas to improve access to information that would enhance our ability to recover funds in the future.
This reporting process happens in a number of different formats. We issue regular progress reports, weekly findings summaries, and a comprehensive management report at the end of the engagement that includes actionable recommendations for process improvement.
